Because of this, they will remember them. Also, books have many conversations, so you can learn how native speakers communicate in different situations. Second, students can learn about other cultures. The stories take place in foreign countries, so they can learn about those cultures. For example, when I read A Christmas Carol, I learned a lot about Christmas in England.
